If you read my Crazy in Life blog, then you probably know that I'm in Italy right now, And because Crazy in Beauty is a beauty blog, I thought it was only approprate to do a What to Wear when skiing.
It's not a tutorial or anything, just a few things that I use everyday, when going on ski slopes.

Just one thing before talking about the main topic. Nobody really cares what you wear on ski slopes. Everybody are busy with skiing and not looking at your face. That's why the skiing makeup is more of a minimal makeup look.

Let's go!

1) Concealer
I usually wake up early to be the first on the ski run, that's why I have those black circles under my eyes. So I think that concealer should be perfect to cover them up. I'm using the Maybelline Fit Me! in the shade 10. Also it's been great for any blemishes. I've been loving it lately!

2) Powder
This product will keep you from looking like Edward from Twilight. It's amazing if like me you're wearing any SPF product underneath the concealer, to protect yourself from sun and wind.
Here I'm using my favourite powder, which also smells beautiful, the Bourjois Healthy Balance powder in 52 Vanilla.

3) Waterproof mascara
It's obvious you're going to be sweaty, and your normal mascara might not stay in place all day. So I would suggest waterproof mascara. Here I have a Miss Sporty Fabulous Lash Waterproof mascara. It
really does it job. And certainly is waterproof.

If you want that extra volume or lenght, that you're waterproof mascara doesn't give, then use underneath a normal one. Like this Loreal Paris Volume Million Lashes. You will have both waterproof and volume/lenght.

You're wondering, why is it in capital letters. Maybe because it's the most important thing. If you don't use lip balm or anything moisturizing on your lips, then they will look terrible. I'm using my favourite lip balm ever, the Nivea Essential Care.

And there you have it. My makeup for skiing days. If you have any other things you wear, then hit me in the comments.

Speak to you soon,
Mary x

  1. I love Nivea lip balms. I have only ever tried one, a long time ago, but I loved it. These look like the perfect things to use when you just want to refresh yourself. I have never been skiing but I am sure there are certain things you should wear to protect your skin from the weather. I am going to be referring to you if I ever go skiing lol. Really helpful post!!
