My current makeup routine for spring time!
Like always, each season I tend to change my makeup routine. It happens naturally, as I'm not a fan of dark makeup in spring and summer. Obviously this time I went for pinks yet again. I feel it's like the perfect colour for this time of the year.
However instead of doing the usual makeup look and showing you a step-by-step tutorial kind of, I thought I would just talk about products that I add or change for my spring makeup look.
So the first thing I change in my spring makeup routine is foundation. I either don't put any or I use the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. I love that it had shimmer in it, as it really allows the skin to glow. And ya know, glowing in spring it the key.
Next up is the KIKO Velvet Stick Blush in 04. It's the perfect blush to go with my pinky eye makeup. Because it's in the stick form, it's easy to apply and then blend out. It's a subtle blush, however you have to look out on the amount of the product you're using, as you might go for that crazy look.
The highlight of this blog post is the Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Sweet As Candy. I just recently found out, that they sell Wet N Wild in my country, and I literally rushed to buy something from this brand. And the first thing I laid my eyes on was this eyeshadow palette. Perfect for spring, as it has that beautiful pink eyelid shade. I prefer to use it with my hands, than with a brush. Also that browbone eyeshadow is really good. Definitely a good purchase.
To emphase my eyes, I use the beloved Catrice Longlasting Eye Pencil in 050 Brown Town Girl. It stays on your waterline all day, it's amazing! I highly highly recommend their eye pencils.
And for the lips, I again turn to Wet N Wild and use their MegaLast Lip Color in Mauve Outta Here. If you apply it carefully and blot the excess off, it does last for quite a while. I love the name of this lipstick, however it's not mauve on my lips at all. It's more of a hot, but toned pink. But either way, I love to wear it in spring.
And that would be it for my spring makeup edit. I hope you enjoyed. If you tried Wet N Wild, do you recommend any other products?
